Job summary

Veho in Dallas is seeking a Regional VP of Ground Operations to oversee our ground network, drive strategic direction, and ensure operational excellence across warehousing, sortation, and last-mile delivery. This role partners with cross-functional teams to enable scalable growth in a fast-moving ecommerce logistics business.

The ideal leader has 10+ years in logistics or warehousing leadership, expertise in WMS/TMS and data analytics, and a proven track record of cost optimization and safety.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in ground ops, warehousing, or logistics.
• Experience scaling operations in high-growth/startup environments.
• Strong knowledge of last-mile delivery and network optimization.
• Experience with WMS, TMS, automation, and data analytics.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing at executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term strategic vision for Veho's ground ops.
• Oversee warehousing, sortation, logistics, and last-mile delivery, focusing on safety, quality, service, and productivity.
• Drive network expansion, capacity planning, and infrastructure development for hyper-growth.
• Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate to implement AI and automation solutions to optimize processes.
• Monitor KPIs and financials; provide executive-level reporting.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team with leadership of leaders.
• Manage risk, safety, compliance, and environmental standards.
• Oversee operational budgets and drive cost optimization while maintaining service quality.
• Travel 50%+.
