Summary

Ready for a new challenge? Join Guidewire as a Regional Vice President! We are looking for a sales leader with great energy, leadership, and initiative to drive team performance and sales for our enterprise team. You will formulate and implement a strategy to increase business growth via our GTM plan.. This role works in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Pre-sales, Partner Alliances, Services & HR, therefore cross-company engagement and orchestration is crucial. The candidate will be a high impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results & first-class employee development. The Sales Leader is fully responsible for developing and leading the team to generate revenue and achieve individual team and organizational quotas. Aligning to the sales strategy, the Sales Leader defines and implements plans for the assigned Accounts to achieve sales objectives.

Our industry is undergoing a technology-led transformation, and our teams are vital partners to insurers in helping them plan for success. And, new sales revenue ensures we can continuously invest in our products and in scaling our growing company. Job Description

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of Enterprise SaaS/PaaS Sales Experience
  • Previous Sales Management experience is desirable
  • Demonstrate a track record of success/ quota achievement YoY
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets
  • Create and communicate sales goals and ensure C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
  • Effectively communicate client centric value propositions through business case analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven ability to coach/ drive the sales process from start to finish
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products
  • Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Understanding of how to position products against competitors
  • Experience in P&C Insurance


The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $270,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
