Blue River PetCare seeks a Regional Operations Manager to oversee 15+ veterinary hospitals in Minnesota and support future acquisitions. The role requires travel up to 75% and close collaboration with local practice managers and veterinarians to ensure top patient care and financial performance.

Ideal candidates bring three years of veterinary management and two years of multisite leadership, strong financial acumen, and the ability to drive profitability while maintaining high standards of care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and multi-site veterinary leadership experience preferred.
• Three years of veterinary management and two years of multi-unit management experience required.
• Experience managing profit and loss and delivering positive financial results.
• Excellent organization and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Must be able to travel 75% via car/plane.

Responsabilités

• Supervises operations of 15+ hospitals with goal of revenue and profit growth.
• Works with local management and veterinarians to maintain high patient care standards.
• Acts as liaison between hospitals and Blue River management; reports findings and offers profitability recommendations.
• Provides staffing support in inventory, scheduling, compliance, training, recruiting, and retention.
• Ensures OSHA, DEA, AVMA, and local regulations compliance.
• Coaches local managers on revenue, expenses, staffing, inventory, pricing, and cost control.
• Partners with HR on employee relations and best practices; supports acquisitions as needed.
• Performs duties of practice manager for hospitals as needed.
