Job summary

Blue River PetCare is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to support the day-to-day operations of current clinics and any future acquisitions. The role requires leading 15+ hospitals, coordinating with local teams and veterinarians to uphold high standards of care while driving profitability and growth.

Travel to clinics is required. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of veterinary management and 2+ years in multisite leadership, with strong financial acumen and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Three years of veterinary management experience.
• Two years of multisite management experience.
• Experience managing profit and loss statements and delivering positive financial results.
• Excellent organization and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a timely manner.
• Must be able to travel to clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operations of 15+ Blue River PetCare hospitals with revenue/profit growth goals.
• Collaborates with local management and veterinarians to maintain high patient care standards.
• Liaises between hospitals and Blue River management; reports findings and suggests profitability improvements.
• Provides staffing support in inventory, scheduling, compliance, training, recruiting, and retention.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, DEA, AVMA, and local regulations; maintains policies.
