Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Regional Venue Technology Manager to lead IT operations for central-region venues, overseeing POS, payments, and venue tech. You will manage a team of salaried and hourly staff, coordinate with 3rd-party vendors, and ensure uptime, security, and scalable IT services across sites in the Central Region.

The role requires 8+ years in POS tech, strong vendor management, and IT leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of POS experience, ideally in Hospitality or Tourism.
• Technical knowledge of IT systems including POS, networks, and enterprise apps.
• Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365 suite.
• PCI risk and compliance experience.
• IT security and incident response capabilities.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams in a matrixed environment.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Contract management and vendor relationship skills.
• Project management and leadership across lifecycle stages.

Responsibilities

• Lead venue technology team to deliver POS, payment, and critical systems support.
• Schedule, mentor, and deploy venue tech staff across the region.
• Manage third-party vendor relationships and contracts for venue tech.
• Collaborate with Corporate Infrastructure to design and maintain IT infrastructure and apps.
• Estimate, design, implement, and manage venue tech solutions to enable business goals.
• Evaluate and implement third-party tech products to improve service and profitability.
• Define standards and promote reuse of enterprise technologies to improve ops.
• Establish IT Service Management processes scalable across venues.
• Oversee IT finance processes like budgeting and invoicing for tech ops.
• Understand IT architecture areas and contribute to their development.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and realization of benefits.
• Communicate end-user architecture strategies and policies.
• Analyze current applications and infra for deficiencies and solutions.
• Serve as business relationship manager between West Region venues and IT.
• Act as escalation point for venue tech teams across West Region.
• Build and maintain client relationships for venue tech solutions.
• Provide guidance on strategic and technical direction for IT in venues.
