Job summary

North Sky Communications seeks an experienced Supervisor – Telecom Construction Underground to lead and coordinate daily field operations across Oregon. You will oversee underground crews, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive project execution in alignment with blueprints and local guidelines.

The role requires 3–5 years in underground telecom construction, strong leadership, and the ability to manage scheduling, equipment, and production while mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years in underground utility/telecom construction, including supervision of field crews.
• Technical skills: read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and ground layout specs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily underground operations for field crews across Oregon region.
• Enforce safety policies, OSHA/DOT standards, and local traffic regulations; perform site safety inspections.
• Coordinate project objectives by interpreting blueprints and scheduling routing, dispatch, and 811 locates.
• Monitor production progress, manage equipment, minimize downtime, and perform routine maintenance.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to crew members and report updates to management.
