Job summary

North Sky Communications, LLC in Oregon seeks a Supervisor - Telecom Construction Underground to lead underground crew activities and coordinate daily field operations across the Oregon region.

You will ensure safety, interpret engineering prints, align with regulatory guidelines, and drive production while maintaining quality. Travel regionally and supervise foremen, operators, and laborers as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in underground utility/telecom construction with crew supervision experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and ground layouts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct underground field crews across the Oregon region.
• Enforce safety policies, OSHA/DOT standards, and traffic control regulations; conduct site safety inspections.
• Interpret blueprints and cut sheets to execute daily objectives; coordinate routing, dispatch, and 811 locates.
• Monitor production progress, manage equipment allocation, minimize downtime, and coordinate maintenance.
• Perform quality audits, track labor hours, and report updates to regional telecom management.
• Coach crew members and support team development.
