Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking a Regional Business Manager to lead sales and profitability initiatives across Latin America and the Caribbean. This role focuses on golf and turf markets, coordinating with distributors and cross-functional teams to drive growth and market share.

You will manage regional sales staff, develop plans, and build strong relationships with customers and internal partners while traveling ~50% to execute strategy and support distributors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined sales & marketing experience managing business plans and P&Ls with multiple channels of distribution.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute annual business and sales account plans.
• Subject matter expertise across product lines, features, and customer benefits in a competitive landscape.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for complex business negotiations with customer stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve goals and objectives.
• Data-based analytical skills to drive programs and promotions that meet annual targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales plans per business segment with Sales Team.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to sales staff.
• Develop and execute annual business plans to achieve sales and profitability goals.
• Identify new business opportunities and market segments.
• Coordinate resolution of field issues with Customer Care; provide technical sales support.
• Lead and communicate with regional employees on goals, policies, and strategies.
• Drive distributor relationships through visits and support, and introduce new products.
• Develop distributors to improve performance and conduct product/sales training.
• Evaluate distributor sales, marketing, and service performance from feedback.
• Develop business plans to enter identified opportunities.
