Job summary

Velocity Truck Rental and Leasing is seeking a Regional Service Manager to oversee service departments across the region. You will drive safe, efficient, profitable maintenance operations and partner with branch leaders to improve performance and vehicle readiness.

The role requires leadership of service managers and technicians, adherence to DOT/OSHA standards, and travel across the assigned region. Compensation includes base salary with bonuses and full benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in heavy-duty truck maintenance, fleet maintenance, rental and leasing, or related service.
Minimum of three years of experience managing multiple service locations or teams.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and fleet repair operations.
Experience with budgets, labor productivity, and reducing downtime.
Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, environmental and safety requirements.
Experience with fleet-maintenance, work-order, telematics, or dealership-management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor service managers, shop supervisors, and technicians across the region.
Establish consistent service procedures, performance standards, and operating practices.
Monitor maintenance schedules, downtime, and fleet availability.
Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and returned to service safely.
Analyze performance data and implement improvements for profitability and efficiency.
Collaborate with branch leadership to set priorities and manage budgets.
