Job summary

Domino’s is seeking a Senior Transportation Safety & Compliance Specialist to serve as a regional resource for supply chain centers, transportation, and regional leadership in Michigan and beyond. You will guide safety performance and ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA and company requirements through coaching, documentation review, and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in safety, transportation, logistics or related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in transportation safety management within a large corporate environment.
Knowledge of DOT guidelines, OSHA compliance, FMCSA and FMCSR.
Experience with fleet telematics (Lytx, Geotab or Samsara).
Leadership experience in a complex safety environment with cross-level influence.
Strong understanding of transportation safety standards, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Conduct periodic DOT/FMCSA compliance reviews including driver qualification files, hours-of-service, ELD records, inspections and maintenance docs.
Monitor transportation data (accidents, injuries, CSA BASIC, telematics) to identify trends and mitigate risk.
Support investigations by reviewing docs, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification of closure.
Provide field-based driver coaching via ride-alongs, in-cab video review, telematics insights and observations.
Deliver or support transportation safety training (defensive driving, hazard recognition, inspections, ELD compliance).
Verify procedures for yard operations, DVIR, incident reporting, inspection follow-up and closure of corrective actions.
Support regional leaders with coaching to build safety competency across the region.
Prepare reports and trend summaries for leadership to support visibility and accountability.
Offer regional safety priorities and ensure consistent execution of company safety policies.
