Job summary

Brightli in Springfield, MO is seeking a Training Coordinator to coordinate and deliver training for Community Services associates across the region. You will lead orientation, CPR/First Aid training, and ongoing development programs to ensure service excellence and staff growth.

The ideal candidate has a 5+ year background in human services or related training, with CPR/First Aid instructor certification and a willingness to travel Missouri-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or equivalent experience.
• CPR/First Aid/AED Training Instructor certification required.
• Tiered Supports Training Instructor certification preferred.
• Minimum of five years in ID/DD field or related MO Quality Outcomes training.
• Knowledge of MO DMH standards and regulations.
• Training and certification in CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate orientation training for new associates on core procedures and safety.
• Deliver initial and ongoing training for Direct Support Staff and Program Coordinators.
• Coordinate CPR, First Aid, and specialized trainings regionally.
• Develop follow-up training initiatives and 30-Day On-the-Job training.
• Identify external training opportunities to enhance skills.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure training quality and consistency.
• Travel throughout Missouri to provide training and support as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
