Job summary

Cambridge Healthcare Services seeks a Regional Director of Therapy Services to oversee rehabilitation across affiliated facilities. You will lead regional clinical and operational strategies, mentor Directors of Rehabilitation, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimize performance and budgeting for therapy programs.

The role requires extensive clinical leadership in skilled nursing settings, strong data analysis, and travel to multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathologist, as required by regulation.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility or comparable healthcare setting.
• Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a Director of Rehabilitation or multi-site capacity.
• Strong understanding of Managed Care, Medicare Part A, and Part B therapy regulations, reimbursement methodologies, and compliance standards.
• Proven ability to analyze clinical and financial performance data.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to assigned facilities as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional consultation and oversight to Directors of Rehabilitation to ensure high-quality, compliant, and financially responsible therapy services.
• Monitor regional performance in clinical quality, compliance, and revenue relative to budget.
• Analyze dashboards and financial/clinical data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Guide Directors of Rehabilitation in establishing corrective action plans when performance lags.
• Ensure therapy operations align with CMS/state regulations, payer guidelines, and company policies.
• Lead regional meetings to review KPIs and priorities, and mentor DORs for growth and accountability.
• Collaborate with facility Administrators and regional leaders to align therapy strategy with facility objectives.
