Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) is seeking a Terminal Operations Supervisor to assist in the day-to-day operations at a Kentucky terminal location. You will supervise drivers, conduct interviews and hire new drivers, and collaborate with dispatch to troubleshoot delivery issues.

The role involves PTO approvals, weekly scheduling, forecasting terminal performance, analyzing financials, and ensuring asset utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent business experience in transportation.
• Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise performance of drivers.
• Conduct interviews and hire drivers.
• Work closely with dispatchers on troubleshooting items such as delivery issues, driver training program, staffing levels, customer requests/complaints, etc.
• Approve/Deny driver PTO requests, manage annual vacation schedule, create weekly driver schedule for dispatch.
• Assist in the forecasting of terminal performance and analyze terminal financial information.
• Ensure maximum asset utilization.
