Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Supervisor Region Operations to lead technicians across defined service areas, delivering high‑quality residential and business connectivity while ensuring profitable operations and adherence to policy. You will mentor a capable, customer‑focused team that promotes Lumen products and services and strives to exceed client expectations.

You’ll oversee daily plant network activities, coordinate with contractors and unions, drive training and performance, and represent the company

Qualifications

4+ years experience managing teams within a telecom technical environment.
Experience developing employees through training, coaching and mentoring in a union environment.
Proficient in Excel, email, Word and legacy systems.
Knowledge of residential and business services and Local Network processes; familiarity with Century Link offerings.
Experience with splicing and construction processes in telecom.
Experience managing contractor relations.
Ability to interview, present options, and follow up with customers; customer-focused.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and 5+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operation of outside and inside plant network services and technicians for residential and business services.
Serve as single point of contact between Century Link and Contractors to resolve issues during construction/maintenance.
Lead training, coaching and development to meet new processes and quality standards, safety and skills.
Lead a team of technicians to meet attendance and performance standards.
Represent Century Link with customers and governmental agencies.
Collaborate with the union to achieve a win-win relationship.
Recognize successes and motivate continuous improvement and maximum performance.
