Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a full-time Regional Teen Director to supervise Teen Programs at Chester and Petersburg branches. You will cultivate Teen Programs through volunteerism, partnerships, and philanthropy to boost engagement.

The role requires at least two years in youth/teen programs, a high school diploma, and strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills. A bachelor’s degree is desirable. Join a mission-driven team focused on youth development and community impact.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience with youth/teen programs required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, communicate, and promote Y mission to staff, volunteers, members, and community.
• Develop and implement high quality teen programs and events at multiple sites.
• Ensure program fidelity per YUSA and association standards.
• Maintain records, reports, surveys, and other data requests.
• Build rapport with participants, families, and staff; maintain positive communication.
• Engage in YUSA Teen programs and encourage participation.
• Establish emergency procedures in line with safety standards; communicate plans.
• Develop and manage budgets with forecasting and analysis.
• May supervise part-time staff and volunteers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating.
