Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a dynamic Regional Director to lead Youth Development across the Western Chesterfield region. You will oversee before/after-school and camp programs, ensure safety and quality, and drive program excellence.

Requirements include 2+ years of experience managing youth programs and teams, a Bachelor's degree, VA licensing for site supervision, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to serving underserved communities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing youth programs and teams.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience working in underserved communities.
• Meets VA licensing requirements for site supervision.
• Strong communication, organizational, and tech skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all programs meet licensing standards and maintain accurate records.
• Hire, train, and mentor center directors, and site coordinators.
• Regularly visit sites to assess quality and support staff.
• Lead data collection efforts (e.g., attendance, behavior, surveys).
• Build strong relationships with school administrators and community partners.
• Manage budgets with precision and transparency.
