The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking a full-time, highly motivated, mission-driven, team-oriented professional to serve as our Regional Teen Director for our Chester and Petersburg branches. The ideal candidate will cultivate Teen Programs at multiple locations to increase engagement through volunteerism, partnerships and philanthropy.
The Director should be enthusiastic, able to create high quality programs, and committed to the YMCA mission. A minimum of two years of experience with youth/teen programs is required. A high school degree or equivalent is required with a bachelor's degree desirable. Relationship-building abilities are essential, including the ability to connect and build trust with youth and teens, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to set priorities and manage multiple concurrent tasks essential. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are necessary, as well as previous budgeting experience and computer proficiency. The ability to plan, develop, organize, manage, prioritize, and administer tasks is essential.
