Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a full-time Regional Teen Director to lead teen programs at the Chester and Petersburg branches. This role focuses on developing engaging Teen Programs, fostering volunteerism, and building partnerships to support the Teen Experience.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of youth/teen program experience, strong leadership and organizational skills, and a bachelor’s degree is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience with youth/teen programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills required.
• Budgeting experience and computer proficiency expected.

Responsibilities

• Promote Y mission, goals, and objectives to staff, volunteers, members, and community.
• Develop and implement high-quality teen programs and events at multiple locations.
• Ensure program fidelity to YUSA and association standards.
• Support data collection with accurate records, reports, surveys, and other requests.
• Build rapport with participants, families, staff, and community partners.
• Engage teens in YUSA programs and related experiences and encourage participation.
• Establish emergency procedures and communicate plans to management and participants.
• Develop and manage budgets with forecasting and analysis.
