Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. seeks a Technical Trainer in Irvine, CA to deliver training across the region, collaborate with curriculum developers, and support both internal and external customers.

The role requires strong hardware expertise and the ability to create and deliver seminars for diverse audiences. The successful candidate will conduct dealer visits, provide coaching, and work with the training team to maintain high delivery standards and program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• CTT+ Certification or achieving it within the first six months.
• Knowledge of IBSTPI competencies.
• Relevant networking certs (Network+, MCP, CNA) preferred.
• Experience in electronics repair or technical training nearly required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional training programs and ensure content meets department standards.
• Provide coaching and feedback to students to ensure course goals are met.
• Create and deliver seminars for internal/external customers in all areas of specialty.
• Visit dealers, assess training needs, and promote Canon training initiatives.
