Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Customer Trainer- Inkjet- Eng/Span to deliver regional training on hardware and software features. The role supports Latin America and involves managing demo room functionality while working virtually.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 3–5 years in printing pre-/post-sales support, with strong Windows/macOS knowledge and experience with Canon software like eCopy, Therefore, and uniFLOW. Up to 60% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in printing pre-sales/post-sales support in office and production environments.
• Strong working knowledge of computer hardware and software including, but not limited to, Microsoft and Apple operating systems and print driver setup.
• Thorough working knowledge of Canon USA software portfolio including eCopy, Therefore and uniFLOW.
• Strong grasp of networking essentials and concepts.
• Extensive travel may be required, up to 60% with overnight stays (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record). CMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for training regional accounts and outcomes.
• Determines the best instructional methods for each training session and tests trainees to measure learning progress.
• Develops, directs, plans and evaluates training activities and participates in curriculum development.
• Analyzes customer training needs to determine requirements for new program development.
• Works independently with guidance only in new or unusual situations.
