Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC in West Springfield, MA is seeking a Hybrid Field Service Engineer to provide technical and warranty administration support to the regional operations team. You will review products for service feasibility, coordinate resources, and liaise with the technical group to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• Must be self-directed with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); travel required.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent exp. (e.g. 10+ years).

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical & Warranty administration support to Regional CTS Operations and Management Team.
• Review new products from field/aftermarket perspective to determine service feasibility and resources.
• Assist Service Managers in technician development and local training initiatives.
• Warranty administration support including review/approval of claims and RMA tracking.
• Provide technical support to end users and direct field service interventions as needed.
• Liaise with Technical Support Competency Group to resolve complex service issues.
• Engage in special projects as assigned by Regional Operations Manager or VP/GM.
