Job summary

Pinterest is hiring a Manager II, Technical Support Engineer to lead a regional team of Partner/Support Engineers serving advertisers and Martech/Business partners. You will own regional goals, grow talent, and drive cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, and Sales.

You will guide complex integrations, monitor key metrics, and push AI-driven improvements to scale support while maintaining close collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people/team management experience leading client-focused technical teams, on top of a strong Support/Solution/Partner Engineering background (~5+ years overall)
• Background in Ad Tech, MarTech, or eCommerce
• Strong technical skills: scripting, SQL and data analysis, and debugging complex multi-system integrations

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a regional team of Partner/Support Engineers, setting clear objectives and holding the team accountable for outcomes while acting as a hands-on player-coach
• Manage performance, provide real-time feedback, and grow careers through coaching and stretch assignments
• Own advertiser and partner relationships, goals, and metrics for your region across segments
• Scale PinTech support coverage into new consumer segments and products, adapting the support model accordingly
• Lead key programs within the team with scope, milestones, and success criteria
• Act as escalation point for the team, guiding resolution of high-severity, cross-system issues
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Partnerships to identify needs and priorities
• Establish and monitor team metrics and drive continuous improvement
• Relay insights to influence the API product roadmap
• Guide API integrations, debugging, and data investigations
• Champion AI-driven solutions to scale support and operations
• Communicate clearly to leadership and participate in client-facing discussions
