Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a Manager II, Technical Support Engineer to lead a regional team serving advertisers and Martech partners across segments. You will own partner relationships, guide cross-functional initiatives, and scale AI-driven support initiatives.

Based in the US and able to work in a remote/hybrid capacity, you will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to influence roadmaps and improve service delivery while maintaining rigorous SLAs and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people/team management experience leading client-focused technical teams, on top of a strong Support/Solution/Partner Engineering background (~5+ years overall)
• Background in Ad Tech, MarTech, or eCommerce
• Strong individual technical skills: reading and writing complex scripts for data manipulation and API integrations (e.g., Python or shell scripting), SQL and data analysis, and debugging complex multi-system integrations

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional team of Partner/Support Engineers, setting objectives and coaching the team to achieve outcomes
• Develop talent through feedback, coaching, and stretch assignments, fostering an inclusive environment
• Own advertiser and partner relationships, goals, and metrics for your region across segments
• Scale PinTech support coverage into new customer segments and products
• Lead programs with defined scope and milestones, driving execution
• Act as escalation point for high-severity technical issues and guide teams through complex cases
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Partnerships to prioritize needs of advertisers and partners
• Establish and monitor team metrics and drive continuous improvement
• Relay insights to Product/Engineering to influence API roadmaps
• Stay hands-on to guide API integrations, debugging, and data investigations
• Champion AI-driven scale and experimentation within the team
• Communicate clearly with leadership and participate in client-facing discussions
