Job summary

NSG Group/Pilkington in the United States seeks a seasoned Supply Chain leader to coordinate operations across multiple manufacturing sites and drive efficiency. You will lead a regional team, oversee inventory budgets, and align cross-functional efforts with engineering and NMI initiatives.

You will mentor plant materials staff, implement best practices, and push continuous improvements to deliver leaner, more resilient processes while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 1–3 years in a leadership/supervisory role managing materials staff.
• Experience overseeing multiple facilities; strong communication & negotiation skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills; highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to travel regularly (estimate 50%).

Responsibilities

• Directly manage, coach, and develop two Supply Chain Analysts with regular feedback.
• Provide functional leadership to Plant Materials Managers across facilities.
• Support plant managers in coaching plant materials personnel.
• Lead regular team meetings and one-on-ones to align priorities and address gaps.
• Identify training needs and support succession planning for key roles.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across regional supply chain.
• Identify cost-savings opportunities in warehousing and logistics.
• Optimize inbound/outbound shipments and maintain best practices across planning, inventory, warehousing, shipping, and stores.
• Oversee inventory across finished goods, raw materials, components, and stores.
• Monitor cycle counts and coordinate physical inventories across plants.
• Set KPIs and drive ownership and accountability.
• Collaborate with NMI and Engineering to anticipate inventory shifts from changes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to make the supply chain faster, leaner, and more resilient.
• Engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve processes and issue resolution.
• Uphold NSG/Pilkington standards and participate in risk management and governance.
