Job summary

NSG Group/Pilkington is seeking a senior supply chain leader to manage and develop a regional team across multiple facilities. The role emphasizes coaching, performance feedback, and career development, while driving best practices in warehousing, logistics, and inventory control.

The candidate will partner with Plant Materials Managers and Engineering to anticipate inventory shifts, lead cost optimization efforts, and uphold company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business or supply chain.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• 1–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role managing staff.
• Experience overseeing multiple manufacturing sites.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Regular travel to plant locations (approx. 50%).

Responsibilities

• Directly manage, coach, and develop two supply chain analysts with regular performance feedback and career development planning.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to plant materials managers to drive consistent processes across facilities.
• Coaching plant materials personnel and supporting succession planning.
• Lead team meetings, align priorities, and address performance gaps regionally.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in warehousing and logistics and optimize inbound/outbound shipments.
• Oversee inventory across finished goods, raw materials, and stores; monitor cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Collaborate with NMI and Engineering to communicate inventory shifts due to changes and launches.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to make supply chain faster, leaner, and more resilient.
• Build relationships with suppliers and ensure compliance with standards.
