Coherent Corp. seeks a seasoned manufacturing leader to oversee day-to-day and strategic operations across Saxonburg, Santa Rosa, and Eugene.

You will drive growth, ensure scalable capacity, and maintain quality, cost discipline, and technical readiness for advanced manufacturing processes. The role requires 15+ years in multi-site manufacturing leadership, with global experience (Asia preferred) and strong expertise in Lean, ERP/MES, SAP, Power BI, and ISO 9001:2015.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management is required.
• 15+ years of manufacturing leadership across multi-site operations.
• MBA preferred; global operations experience especially Asia is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams and drive change.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and Lean methodologies.
• ERP/MES proficiency; SAP and Power BI preferred.
• ITAR compliance is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day and long-range operations across Saxonburg, Santa Rosa, and Eugene.
• Drives operational growth and scalability to support revenue and new product introductions while maintaining quality and cost discipline.
• Leads Lean, automation, and digital transformation initiatives to improve throughput and competitiveness.
• Manages production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and capacity balancing across U.S. sites.
• Maintains Asia coordination for global product transfers and scaling.
• Champions ICARE values and leads organizational development across sites.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management

MBA preferred

15+ years manufacturing leadership experience with multi-site responsibility

Experience with global operations including Asia

Proven leadership of large, diverse, multi-site teams

Strong communication and executive presentation skills

Lean / continuous improvement leadership

ISO 9001:2015 knowledge

ERP/MES proficiency; SAP and Power BI preferred
