Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Regional Technical Service Manager for Flygt submersible pumps to lead service operations across a specified region. The role centers on driving customer satisfaction, coordinating repairs, start-ups and field service, and improving regional performance.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience with submersible pumps and a proven track record of leading teams, along with strong communication and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Submersible Pump experience is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in service and/or rental fleet management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading and managing a team.
• 3-5 years’ experience in pumps, pumping systems, equipment rental or construction preferred.
• Green Belt certification preferred or willing to earn within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional service efforts with focus on customer satisfaction.
• Guide service efforts of Flygt OEM facilities in the region.
• Review and manage service metrics: repair time to quote, time to repair, quality and warranty.
• Provide supervision and training to personnel for in‑shop and field service operations.
• Interface with end-users to handle service problems and on-site start-ups.
• Manage equipment repairs and scheduling for large projects across branches.
• Support LEAN initiatives to streamline regional operations and create standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to grow regional profitability and opportunities.
