Saint Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a Regional Stroke Coordinator RN to lead regional stroke processes across Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri. You will partner with the Stroke Medical Director, coordinate inpatient/outpatient care, and standardize care models across the region.

The role requires a BSN and AR RN license, 5+ years acute care experience and 3+ years in stroke coordination, ACLS certification, and willingness to travel about 40% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Current RN License in Arkansas (or compact).
• ACLS is required for all candidates regardless of education.
• 5+ years in acute care (ED, neuro, or critical care); 3+ years in stroke program coordination, management, or a stroke care team.
• Preferred: Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) within 12-15 months of hire; CSPC; TNCC or ENPC.
• Would also consider CSPC; ACLS is required for all candidates regardless of education

Responsibilities

• Assist with Stroke process development at SBMC (acute inpatient and outpatient).
• Regional operationalization across surrounding counties with standardized tools and transfer protocols.
• Outreach and referral development for acute transfers, outpatient stroke and TIA follow-up.
• Lead Monthly/ Quarterly Regional Stroke Updates for outlying facilities and CE credits where possible.
• Quality, data and program management; monitor Get With The Guidelines-Stroke data; manage regional ROI and strategy.
