Job summary

St. Bernards Healthcare seeks a Regional Stroke Coordinator based in Jonesboro to partner with SBMC stroke teams and the Stroke Medical Director. You will standardize regional care models, improve processes and build referral networks across Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri.

You will lead monthly or quarterly updates, manage data dashboards, and support 24/7 readiness for stroke care across facilities, while traveling ~40% to outlying sites and coordinating with EMS and partners.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an active RN license in Arkansas (or compact).
• Preferred: 5+ years in acute care and 3+ years in stroke program coordination/management.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain evidence-based stroke protocols and pathways across the region.
• Standardize care models and coordinate regional transfer and follow-up processes.
• Develop outreach and referral relationships with physicians, APRNs and centers.
• Ensure readiness for Joint Commission or DNV certifications and survey readiness.
• Collaborate with IT on order sets and documentation templates for stroke care.
• Lead Regional Stroke Updates and monitor regional performance via dashboards.
