Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture is seeking a Group Manager to lead and develop Store Managers across our store network. You will coach leaders, drive sales growth, manage profitability, and ensure operational excellence while strengthening community relations and brand consistency.

You will recruit and develop top talent, supervise payroll and budgeting, review performance metrics, and maintain strong customer service and credit procedures across all locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required in Management or Business Administration.
• Seven years of experience in retail management or supervision.
• Valid State Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff and completes performance appraisals.
• Manages a group of stores and store managers, planning schedules and coordinating activities.
• Monitors sales, profit, and credit metrics to meet goals.
• Leads recruitment and development of Store Managers and trainees.
• Conducts on-site visits to review operations, merchandising, and store condition.
• Provides training in policies, procedures, and store operations.
• Communicates programs and policies to Store Managers to ensure compliance.
• Fosters community involvement and maintains brand standards.
