Qualifications

• Demonstrates excellent leadership and problem solving skills.
• Able to manage with limited supervision and communicate effectively with customers, vendors and associates.
• Understands data in statistical or numerical form to assess merchandise and operations.
• Feels comfortable hiring, coaching, counseling, disciplining, and firing team members.

Responsibilities

• Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.
• Promote an aggressive sales culture with a focus on superior customer service.
• Hire, coach, counsel, discipline and, if needed, fire team members; plan and evaluate results.
• Schedule and assign team members; ensure execution of store responsibilities.
• Provide feedback to buyers, district managers and company officials.
• Achieve financial objectives by assisting in budgeting and monitoring expenses.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and protect assets against theft and loss.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
• Drive sales and profits through merchandising and efficient store operations.
