Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture is seeking a Store Manager to direct all store operations in Kentucky, supervising staff, guiding daily activities, and training personnel to meet sales and profit targets.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, inventory control, cash handling, and adherence to company policies, while representing the store in the community and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; three (3) years experience in practical supervisory retail and/or sales experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, including coaching and performance appraisals.
• Directs daily store activities across sales, warehouse, accounts and office; plans schedules and approves leave.
• Oversees sales processes, inventories, cash handling, and daily transaction records.
• Trains staff in customer service, selling, merchandising, and relations using Farmers Academy and on‑the‑job training.
• Ensures pricing accuracy, displays, inventory levels, and compliance with company policies.
