Bruker is a global leader in analytical instrumentation, seeking a field-based sales specialist for Bruker Spatial Biology in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will drive capital equipment deals from initial engagement to pilot projects and closed sales, building deep account relationships and coordinating with field application scientists.

This role requires traveling 50–75% of the time, strong presentation skills, and a deep understanding of spatial genomics to tailor solutions.

Qualifications

• MS or BS in molecular biology, biochemistry or related field.
• Strong knowledge of spatial genomics and proteomics preferred.
• Minimum 5 years field experience selling capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with accounts to achieve quotas.
• Lead the capital equipment sales cycle from engagement to closed sale.
• Prospect for potential customers via direct and indirect methods.
• Qualify prospects against criteria and stage gating.
• Discuss business challenges and present value propositions.
• Maintain knowledge of Spatial Biology platforms for informed conversations.
• Develop territory and account plans with marketing and applications teams.
• Manage CRM with detailed notes and forecast data.
• Partner with Marketing on lead generation campaigns.
