Job summary

Schindler Group is seeking a Regional Sourcing & Procurement Specialist for NYC, based in Morristown, NJ, with weekly travel to NYC. Lead subcontract lifecycle, negotiate terms, and optimize procurement strategies to drive cost efficiency.

You will develop supplier networks, implement bundling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet financial targets and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering.
• ISM or APICS certification preferred.
• Strong ERP and analytical skills preferred.
• 5+ years in Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Management.
• 5+ years in Supplier & Subcontractor Management.
• 5+ years in Category Management.
• 5+ years in Contract Management.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional sourcing strategies for subcontracting, materials, and services.
• Negotiate contracts to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and regional teams to optimize processes.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive cost reductions.
