Siemens Smart Infrastructure seeks a Construction Procurement Lead to own the sourcing of materials and subcontracted scopes for large, complex projects in the Central region, with a focus on the New York City area and Northeast network.

You will partner with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to develop competitive strategies, manage RFQ/RFP processes, and drive award recommendations, while maintaining strong commercial relationships.

Formación

• 1-5 years of experience in commercial construction including sourcing and negotiating subcontracts.
• Familiarity with construction documents, bid packages, RFQ/RFP processes.
• Understanding risk factors for trade contractors and subcontractors.
• Willingness to work from a Siemens office at least 3 days per week.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end sourcing for third-party materials and subcontracted scopes on large project pursuits.
• Develop sourcing strategy with Sales to achieve competitive cost positions.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to reduce risk during execution.
• Drive negotiations, bid leveling, and award recommendations.
