Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in commercial construction including sourcing and negotiating subcontracts.
• Familiarity with construction documents, bid packages, and RFQ/RFP processes.
• Willingness to travel ~10% and to work from a Siemens office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing for third-party materials and subcontracted scopes on large, complex project pursuits.
• Develop a sourcing strategy with Sales from early pursuit stages.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to reduce risk on subcontract and material purchases during project execution.
• Leverage category management to maximize Siemens buying power on projects.
• Own procurement for the NY/Northeast market with a regional and global network backing you.
