Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Regional Site Operations Director to lead and optimize operations for a major hyperscale data center program in Abilene, Texas. Internal employee to Insight Global reporting to Oracle and Insight Global stakeholders, this role serves as the senior onsite leader for workforce readiness, operations, compliance, and vendor oversight.

You will manage large technical teams across power, cooling, mechanical, and electrical infrastructure, ensuring safety and reliability

• 7+ years of leadership in mission-critical facilities or hyperscale data centers.
• Experience leading large teams responsible for 24x7 operations.
• Hands-on with electrical, mechanical, cooling, and power systems in data centers.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce execution across a large-scale data center campus.
• Drive accountability for attendance, coaching, performance management, and escalations.
• Oversee onboarding, badging, training completion, and compliance for all site personnel.
• Partner with site leadership to maintain a reliable, disciplined operating environment.
• Ensure teams follow SOPs and safety standards.
• Manage workforce readiness reporting, operational metrics, and executive updates.
• Serve as escalation point for workforce challenges and collaborate with leadership to resolve issues.

Insight Global is seeking a Regional Site Operations Director to support Oracle, one of the world's fastest-growing hyperscale data center programs in Abilene, Texas. This will be an internal employee to Insight Global under our Program Delivery Organization. You will report to both Oracle and Insight Global stakeholders. This individual will serve as the senior onsite leader responsible for workforce readiness, operational execution, compliance, vendor oversight, and personnel performance across mission-critical data center environments.

This role is ideal for a proven data center operations leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and has experience managing large technical teams supporting critical power, cooling, mechanical, and electrical infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Lead workforce execution across a large-scale data center campus, ensuring staffing, performance, and operational readiness remain aligned with business objectives.
• Drive accountability for attendance, coaching, performance management, and workforce escalations.
• Oversee onboarding, badging, training completion, and compliance requirements for all site personnel.
• Partner with site leadership to maintain a highly reliable and operationally disciplined environment.
• Ensure teams are operating in accordance with established SOPs, operational processes, and safety standards.
• Manage workforce readiness reporting, operational metrics, staffing trends, attrition analysis, and executive-level updates.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for workforce-related challenges and partner with leadership teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Support rapid site growth, workforce expansion, and operational scaling initiatives.(Based on the role operating in a fast-paced ramp-up environment described in the requirements.)

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of leadership experience within mission-critical facilities, hyperscale data centers, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Experience leading large teams supporting 24x7 operations.
• Strong background in critical facilities operations, including preventive maintenance, break/fix activities, and infrastructure reliability programs.
• Hands-on experience supporting electrical, mechanical, cooling, and power systems within a data center environment.
• Demonstrated success managing contractors, vendors, technicians, and cross-functional operational teams.
• Experience with incident response, root cause analysis, operational escalations, and reliability-focused environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business organizations.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Abilene, TX.
