Job summary

The Illinois Department of Human Services seeks a Regional Service Delivery Coordinator to integrate initiatives and coordinate Family Community Resource Centers. You will work with regional managers and FCRC Administrators to ensure efficient service delivery and stakeholder collaboration, including translating procedures into Spanish when needed.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years college preferably with course work in a social or human services field.
• Requires three (3) years progressively responsible administrative service delivery experience in a health or human services organization.
• Requires the ability to speak, read and write in Spanish at a colloquial skill level.

Responsibilities

• As Regional Service Delivery Coordinator, works with regional level managers and Family and Community Resource Center Administrators in the integration of initiatives and strategies to achieve service delivery goals.
• Provides proactive managerial oversight of the FCRC’s designed to improve and maintain accurate and timely delivery of services.
• Provides support and assists the FCRC administrative teams regarding staffing transactions and reports.
• Translates functions/procedures into Spanish for individuals who cannot speak or read English, in contacts with the public, advocacy groups, customers and community organizations.
• Promotes and maintains working relationships with stakeholders.
• Serves as customer service liaison.
• Performs other duties as or required which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
