Job summary

Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized Intact Services Specialist to provide intensive casework for intact families at risk. The role includes translating for Spanish-speaking clients and coordinating services to keep families together where possible.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule with in-office days and the chance to contribute to child safety and welfare while working within the Upward Mobility program framework.

Qualifications

• Master's in social work or related field with applicable casework experience.
• One year of direct professional casework/case management experience.
• Ability to translate and interpret Spanish at colloquial level.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Intact Services Specialist and provide short type, intensive casework services to intact families.
• Review safety and risk factors to support child safety and family stability.
• Translate and interpret for Spanish-speaking clients regarding services and forms.
• Maintain case documentation and coordinate with service providers and other units.
