Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks a hands-on Senior Systems Administrator to support technology operations across our New England branch, serving nearly 200 employees.

You will lead local IT staff, coordinate with corporate IT, and ensure secure, reliable technology solutions across multiple offices. The role requires strong technical skills in server infrastructure, AD/M365, cloud services, and security, with travel to offices in Wilmington, MA and surrounding locations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive, hands-on IT experience.
• Experience with server infrastructure, networking, storage, security, backups, and end-user technology.
• Experience with Microsoft-based environments including AD, M365, cloud services, endpoint management.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and communicate with technical and non-technical staff.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving security needs.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate day-to-day IT operations for the New England branch, ensuring reliable systems and support.
• Provide technical guidance to local IT staff and serve as escalation point for complex issues.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support infrastructure, security, and end-user tech.
• Support system availability, backups, disaster recovery, security, and lifecycle management.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Plan and implement technology upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
• Evaluate new technologies and automation opportunities to improve reliability and security.
