Job summary

Merck is seeking a North America ADRS to lead investigations across the NA Regional GSG, covering high-profile sites including Rahway HQ, with a hybrid work model in place.

You will manage a high-volume caseload, coordinate with legal, compliance, HR and operations, and deliver detailed investigative reports to senior leadership while upholding integrity and confidentiality. This role requires ten years of investigations experience, strong interviewing and analytical skills, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of ten years of experience conducting corporate, regulatory, law enforcement/military, compliance, or security investigations.
• Advanced interviewing, evidence collection, report writing, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain security, product integrity investigations, intellectual property protection, and physical security principles.
• Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as required to support Animal Health operations.
• Computer proficiency to manage cases within a case management system and document investigations.

Responsibilities

• Investigate security incidents impacting manufacturing sites, laboratories, veterinary operations, distribution centers, field personnel, and business units.
• Identify risks to employees, products, facilities, customers, animals, and operations; develop mitigation strategies.
• Protect products, technologies, data, and trade secrets through investigative support and intelligence gathering.
• Support supply chain security initiatives, including product theft, diversion, counterfeit products, and distribution vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with leadership, manufacturing, compliance, legal, HR, and quality to address security concerns.
• Prepare detailed investigative reports and executive summaries for leadership and regulatory review.
• Maintain a high-volume caseload with timely, accurate investigative outcomes.
• Maintain records, metrics, and trend analyses to identify recurring issues and support security initiatives.
