Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks an experienced Regional Security Manager to lead physical security across the AMER region, overseeing a team and partnering with global security to align standards. The role supports incident response, crisis planning, and event security for offices, studios, and events.

The ideal candidate combines leadership, risk assessment, and strong collaboration skills, with travel to multiple locations and occasional after-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in physical security or related field.
• Experience managing security initiatives across multiple locations or regions.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, including coaching and team development.
• Ability to assess complex situations, make informed decisions, and communicate effectively during incidents.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management across diverse teams.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, or third-party security providers.
• Familiarity with crisis management, emergency response, and event security operations.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends and travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a regional team of security professionals across the AMER region.
• Partner with global security teams to maintain standards and practices.
• Develop and execute regional security strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Use metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support budget planning, resource management, and vendor oversight.
• Oversee security programs, policies, and procedures across offices and studios.
• Conduct risk assessments and address vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to strengthen site security.
• Manage third-party security providers ensuring quality service.
• Prepare documentation and recommendations after incidents or reviews.
• Coordinate emergency planning, tabletop exercises, and preparedness.
• Provide on-site leadership during security events.
• Build partnerships with HR, IT, Workplace, Legal, and other teams.
