Job summary

Caravel Autism Health is seeking a Senior Scheduling Specialist to train, support, and guide scheduling practices across regions. You will ensure optimal utilization of resources, maintain data integrity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive scheduling improvements.

In this role, you will provide coverage for vacant Scheduling Specialist roles, develop regional schedules, and participate in recurring calls to review performance and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in business, healthcare management or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in scheduling or resource coordination, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Experience in healthcare industry strongly preferred.
• Experience with business analysis and problem solving to drive scheduling improvements.
• Proficiency in using scheduling software and tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and improve scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and support to Scheduling Specialists on Caravel scheduling practices, tools, and procedures.
• Provide coverage for vacant Scheduling Specialist roles and maintain efficient schedules for clinical teammates.
• Join recurring scheduling calls to review performance and implement updates.
• Lead scheduling enhancements with leadership to standardize processes across channels.
• Identify data discrepancies and other issues, prioritize tasks, and implement solutions.
• Collect and analyze scheduling data, prepare reports and share insights with regional leaders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear, standardized scheduling information.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance data integrity and efficiency.
