Job summary

Paragon28, a Zimmer Biomet company, is hiring a Regional Sales Specialist to support Field Sales and Regional Sales Coordinators across the Midwest, with a focus on Colorado. You will process orders, coordinate loaners, and help resolve customer inquiries.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and some travel. Expect to work closely with Regulatory Affairs and ensure compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; four-year degree preferred.
• 1+ years of related sales support, customer service, or training experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence others, strong organizational skills, and growing responsibility.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and solve problems creatively.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with SAP (ERP system) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process orders by phone, app, or e-mail within 4 hours of receipt.
• Assist Regional Sales Coordinator when RSCs are unavailable.
• Coordinate loaners and surgery coverage, including field transfers and set extensions.
• Support timely resolution of customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries.
• Review cases for accuracy and communicate errors.
• Track shipped orders and keep field sales updated on shipment status.
• Process proposals/quote requests from field sales, as requested.
• Resolve routine order status issues, credit holds, shipping problems, or price adjustments.
• Advise Regulatory Affairs of priority complaints involving FDA or regulators.
• Perform duties in compliance with FDA/state regulations and ISO 13485 standards.
• Overtime as required to complete projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May assist with Field Inventory Audits.

What You Can Expect

Paragon28, a Zimmer Biomet company focus on orthopedic medical devices for the foot and ankle, is hiring a Regional Sales Specialist to join our team. The Regional Sales Specialist is responsible for providing support to Field Sales and the Regional Sales Coordinator team ensuring the timely processing of orders and other case related requests, escalation of product availability challenges, and tracking of all case related deliveries.

This position is to cover our Midwest regions. Candidates local to Colorado.

How You'll Create Impact

Essential Responsibilities And Duties

• Receive and process orders by phone, App, or e-mail within 4 hours of receipt
• Assist Regional Sales Coordinator, within their assigned region, when the RSC(s) for that region is
• unavailable
• Assist the RSC’s with scheduling loaners and coordinate surgery coverage, including field transfers and set extensions.
• Support timely resolution of customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries.
• Review cases per assigned region for accuracy and completeness. Document and communicate any errors.
• Track shipped orders keeping field sales representatives informed regarding shipment status and resolve late shipments when requested.
• Process proposals/quote requests from specific field sales, as requested.
• Resolve routine customer complaints with order status, credit hold, and shipping problems, product upgrades or price adjustments, as required.
• Advise Regulatory Affairs of priority complaints or those that involve regulatory agencies such as the FDA.
• Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485.
• Ability to work overtime as required to complete assigned projects on time.
• Other duties as assigned.

Non-Essential Responsibilities And Duties

• May on occasion assist with Field Inventory Audits

Your Background

• Associate Degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, four-year degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Previous experience at a medical device company preferred.
• 1+ years related sales support, customer service, customer facing experience and/or training preferred or relevant experience within the department.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence others, organizational skills, and ability to handle increasing levels of responsibility.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and creative problem solve.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
• Experience with SAP (ERP system) preferred

Travel Expectations

5% overnight travel potential not required.

Compensation Data

Hourly Range: $25.00-$27.00 USD per hour with eligibility for discretionary bonus
