GD Energy Products, formerly Gardner Denver High Pressure Solutions, has rebranded but continues its legacy of industry-leading products and services for over 160 years. We are seeking a Regional Sales Representative for Odessa, TX.

Job Summary:

The Permian Basin Sales Representative - Drilling will drive sales growth and support GDEP Drilling products for our Permian Basin clients.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts at district, rig, and site levels, including rig visits.
  2. Implement sales strategies and manage weekly rig visit schedules.
  3. Assist with product testing, manage test processes, and report results.
  4. Conduct customer-facing product training seminars.
  5. Respond to inquiries and prepare quotes regarding product availability and pricing.
  6. Negotiate prices, terms, and prepare contracts.
  7. Coordinate with purchasing and management to ensure proper order processing and distribution.
  8. Report on account status and sales results periodically.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
  10. Address product-related questions and collaborate with engineering to resolve rig-level challenges.
  11. Travel 3-5 days a week, including potential overnight stays.
  12. Work closely with team members with a passion to win.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of drilling operations and equipment.
  • Follow-up and follow-through capabilities.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license with a good record.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Biology, Engineering, or related field required; MBA preferred for advancement.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged sitting and working at a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Occasional travel to meet clients.
