Regional Sales Specialist (RSS) Job Description

The Regional Sales Specialist (RSS) is responsible for supporting our Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and value-added resellers (VARs) in the Mid-West region, including Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Tennessee. Responsibilities include providing quotes for systems, system support, software upgrade renewals (SUSP), maintaining data integrity, reporting, creating sales collateral, and promoting new product introductions to LenelS2 customers. The successful candidate will:

  1. Collaborate with teammates on all opportunities within the specified territory and region.
  2. Achieve financial objectives in partnership with the RSM.
  3. Execute sales action plans aligned with company strategy.
  4. Participate actively in sales activities to drive business success.
  5. Develop key sales competencies such as prospecting, lead generation, influencing, and business acumen.
  6. Hold themselves accountable for executing key deliverables, metrics, and activities.
  7. Maintain clear communication with teammates and customers.
  8. Align with business imperatives and develop a clear understanding of role expectations and performance metrics.
  9. Maintain extensive knowledge of customers, opportunities, markets, and competitors.
  10. Coordinate with internal resources to provide value and facilitate business.
  11. Add value through growth and support activities, including product demonstrations, regional trade shows, and product roadshows.
  12. Support RFP and RFI responses and submissions.
  13. Execute internal business deliverables within set timeframes.
  14. Provide strategic market feedback to the business.
  15. Support customer sales training initiatives.
  16. Manage strategic initiatives and programs.
  17. Partner with and manage VAR relationships alongside the RSM.
  18. Travel up to 45% of the time.

The salary range for this position is $84,000 to $125,000. The actual offer will depend on experience, education, location, and other relevant factors.
