What you’ll be doing:

Prospect and sell new insurance accounts for Church Mutual and its subsidiaries.

Compensation & Benefits: The target pay ranges from $82,400 to $103,700, including base salary and book commissions. The base salary is between $42,400 and $63,700, with total compensation heavily dependent on sales performance. Benefits include a generous commission structure, commissions on policy renewals from day one, high earning potential, bonuses for profitability, a company car, gas card, company credit card, profit sharing, health benefits, 401(k), and time off benefits.

On any given day, you’ll:
  • Develop and implement a plan to prospect and sell new insurance accounts aligned with goals and objectives.
  • Conduct prospecting activities to meet or exceed sales targets, demonstrating a proactive sales approach.
  • Visit prospects to assess exposures, conduct sales presentations, and provide risk management advice. Complete insurance applications and document communications.
  • Maintain sales activity databases, prepare reports, and process expenses.
  • Attend training, meetings, and conventions, including trips to the Home Office.
Here’s what we expect:
  • Bachelor’s degree and industry experience preferred.
  • Required: P&C license, valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to understand organizational structure and operate independently.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interpret insurance policies and learn relevant software.
  • This role is remote, with required travel and overnight stays.
