Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a Sales Representative to develop and maintain relationships with customers in the Ohio region. The role focuses on Ready-Mix Concrete and Building Materials, aiming to meet sales targets and grow market share.

You will develop short- and long-term sales plans, collaborate with Safety, Quality Control, Production, and Operations, and participate in industry associations to expand networking and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (5 years).
• Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read and interpret civil design drawings and engineering production drawings is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain favorable relationships with current and potential customers.
• Achieve sales goals for Ready-Mix Concrete and Building Materials.
• Develop short- and long-term sales strategies and plans to increase regional profit margins.
• Identify and bid projects within the marketing area and develop bid strategies.
• Meet sales volume and profit margin goals while coordinating with other departments.
