Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a Sales Representative to cultivate relationships with current and potential customers in the Ohio region. You will drive sales for Ready-Mix Concrete and building materials, and craft short- and long-term plans to increase regional profitability.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will analyze markets, identify opportunities, and coordinate with Safety, Quality Control, Production, and Operations to deliver top-tier service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; 5 years preferred.
• Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read and interpret civil design drawings and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing strategy and tactics to attain sales goals and profitability.
• Conduct in-depth analysis including on-demand forecasting and competitor review.
• Identify and bid projects; develop bid strategy for each job.
• Establish goals and action plans for key clients and prospects.
• Meet sales volumes and profit margin targets.
• Coordinate with Safety, Quality Control, Production, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure top service.
