Job Summary

REMOTE POSITION: Regional Sales Manager overseeing the North Central territory of Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to acquire new business for assigned solutions and services, aiming to meet and exceed annual sales goals and grow market share. The Regional Sales Manager will establish and maintain relationships at assigned accounts to ensure effective resource utilization. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, goal-driven, accountable, and preferably reside in Wisconsin or Minnesota within the North Central region.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and execute account strategies within assigned accounts, communicating with internal teams as needed.
  • Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with customers, understanding their processes, drivers, and business models.
  • Provide application knowledge and industry expertise, managing sales activities effectively.
  • Qualify customer opportunities, coordinate solution design, and present value propositions to influence customer decisions.
  • Maintain accurate assessments of targets and opportunities within the Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Collaborate with the Contracts and Negotiations team to reach mutually beneficial terms.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and discounts.
  • Engage the account team and senior management to strategize and secure opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and government laws in all activities.
  • Travel approximately 75% of the time.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 4 years of sales experience in substation automation within IOU, municipal, and cooperative power companies.
  • This is a remote, work-from-home position.
